8.IftheneutralswitchLEDdidnotfunctioncorrectly,dothefollowing:
A.Ensurethattheneutralswitchisproperlyadjusted;refertoAdjusting
theTractionNeutralSwitch(page7–47).Ifnecessary,adjusttheswitch
andreturntostep6.
B.EnsurethatthekeyswitchisintheOFFpositionanddisconnectthe
tractionneutralswitchconnectorfromthemainwireharness.
C.Useamultimeter(ohmssetting),checkthatthemainwireharness
connectorterminalforblackwireisclosed(continuity)totheground.
D.TurnthekeyswitchtotheRUNposition(donotstarttheengine)and
checkwithamultimeterthatthemainwireharnessconnectorterminalfor
pinkwirehassystemvoltage(12VDC)present.
E.TurnthekeyswitchtotheOFFposition.
F.Iftheblackwireisclosedtotheground,thepinkwirehassystemvoltage
present,andtheswitchLEDdidnotfunction,replacethetractionneutral
switch.Adjusttheswitchafterinstallation;refertoAdjustingtheTraction
NeutralSwitch(page7–47).
9.Iftheneutralswitchtestingiscorrectandacircuitproblemstillexists,check
themainwireharness;refertotheElectricalSchematicandWireHarness
Drawings/DiagramsinAppendixA(pageA–1).
10.Afteryoucompletetheneutralswitchtesting,ensurethattheswitch
connectorispluggedintomainwireharness.
