thepivotboltbottomsout.Repeatforremainingpivotbolt.
C.Makesurethatplasticwashersarenotcaughtonthethreadsofthe
pivotbolts.
D.Tighteneachbedbarpivotboltfrom37to44N∙m(27to33ft-lbs).
8.Tightenbothlocknuts(item10)untiltheoutsidemetalwasherjustrotates.
Donotovertightenthelocknutsasthiscandistortthesideplatesandaffect
reeltobedknifecontact,orinthecaseofcuttingunitswithpaintedside
plates,reelbearingadjustment.Theplasticwasherbetweenthebedbarand
sideplateshouldbeloose
9.Tightenthelocknut(item2)oneachbedbaradjusterassemblyuntilthe
adjusterspringisfullycompressed,thenloosenthelocknut1/2turn.
10.Adjustthecuttingunit;refertotheCuttingUnitOperator’sManual.
11.Installthecuttingunittothemachine.
