DPF)areidentiedandmatchedintheengineECUprogram.Iftheengine
electricalcomponentsarereplaced,theYanmarelectronictoolmustbeusedto
updatetheECUprogramwhichwillensurecorrectengineoperation.
IftheengineECUidentiesthatanengineproblemexists,theenginespeed
maybereducedortheenginemayshutoff.TheYanmartroubleshootingmanual
andelectronicdiagnosistoolshouldbeusedtoprovideassistanceinidentifying
thecauseoftheproblemandtherepairsthatarenecessary.ContactyourToro
distributorforanyassistanceintheYanmarenginetroubleshooting.

SeriesdieselenginethatcomplieswithEPATier4Femissionsregulations.The
enginesincludeanelectroniccontrolunit(ECU),anexhaustgasrecirculation
valve(EGR),andadieselexhaustparticulatelter(DPF).Theengineusedin
theReelmaster5610-Dalsoincludesaturbocharger.
TheengineECU,combinedwithnumerousenginesensors,monitorandcontrol
theengineoperationforoptimumperformance.Duringtheoperationofthe
engine,ifconditionswarrant,theengineECUmaygenerateanenginefault.
