Theoperatorseat,seatbase,andcontrolarmassemblyareattached
tothemachinewiththesamefasteners.Supporttheseatbaseand
controlarmtopreventthemfromshiftingwhenremovingtheseat.
Damagetothecontrolarmelectricalcomponentsandplatformwiring
harness,andthrottlecable(ifequipped)canoccuriftheseatbase
andcontrolarmarenotproperlysupportedduringseatremoval.
RemovingtheOperatorSeat
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingunits,shutoffthe
engine,settheparkingbrake,andremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Disconnectthenegativebatterycablefromthebattery;refertoServicingthe
Battery(page7–125).
