      If the Trillium Water Pump is running but not delivering fluid, consider these potential causes and solutions: * The line check valve might be backward. If so, reverse the check valve. * The line check valve could be stuck. In this case, free the valve. * The unit might be running backward. Refer to “Hollow Shaft Driver Installation” on page 24, step 12. * The lift might be too high for the pump. Check with the performance curve. * The pump might not be submerged. If possible, lower the pump or add fluid to the system. * There could be excessive amounts of air or gas. Correct the conditions. * The intake strainer or impeller might be plugged, or the pump might be in mud or sand. Try starting and stopping the pump several times, or use line pressure if available to back flush...

      If your Trillium Water Pump isn't running, the following could be the reason: * Motor overload protection contacts are open due to: incorrect control box (check nameplate for HP and voltage), incorrect connections (check wiring diagram furnished with starter), faulty overloads (replace them), low voltage (check voltage at pump side of control box), or high ambient temperature of control box or starter (use ambient compensated relays). * Blown fuse, broken or loose electric connections (check fuses, relays or heater elements for correct size and all electrical connections). * Defective Motor (repair or replace). * Faulty control equipment (check all circuits and repair). * Faulty switch (repair or replace). * Pump binding (pull master switch, rotate pump by hand to check; check...

      If your Trillium Water Pump has reduced capacity, here are some things to check: * Check bypass valving, as a bypass might be open. * Check the performance curve, as the lift might be too high for the pump. * Check the voltage while the unit is running, as the motor might not be coming up to speed. * Start and stop the pump several times or use line pressure if available to back flush, as the strainer or impellers might be partly plugged.
