Maintenance and Adjustment
Rear Light Assembly
The rear light, licence plate light and rear
direction indicators are incorporated in a
single assembly.
The rear light unit is a sealed, maintenance
free LED unit. The direction indicator bulbs
and licence plate light bulb can be replaced
as described below:
Rear Light Assembly Removal and
Installation
1. R - c l i p
2. Wing nut
Remove the rear seat (see page 73).
Remove the R-clip and wing nut and detach
the rear light assembly.
Installation is the reverse of the removal
procedure, noting the following:
• Tighten the plastic nut to 1. 2 5 N m .
Bulb Replacement
1. Indicator bulb holders
2. Licence plate light bulb holder
3. Outer studs
Rear Direction Indicator Bulb
Replacement
Rotate the bulb holder and connector away
from the outer stud to release it.
Replace the bulb.
Insert the bulb holder to the rear light unit
and rotate towards the outer stud to secure it
in the rear light assembly.
Licence Plate Light Bulb Replacement
Carefully pull the bulb holder from the back
of the licence plate light unit and remove the
bulb.
Installation is the reverse of the removal
procedure.
