7.4.1 Connecting the mains
Connect one end of the mains cable to the main connection socket (5) at the rear side of the laser
device and the other end to a protected power outlet.
WARNING
Mains voltage and operating voltage must match (AC
230 V/50 Hz or AC 115 V/60 Hz) – see information label at
the connection socket.
Under no circumstances switch on the device if the voltages
do not match.
Depending on the laser type and region, the main fuses (6) are either covered or open
next to the connector.
7.4.2 Connecting the PC
1. Connect the computer to the mains.
2. Connect the laser (see figure above) to a free serial interface (2) or USB port (1) on your
computer.
3. Switch on the computer.
