6. Modbus Communication
Transmitters ordered with the Modbus configuration option are accessed using the Modbus
serial communication protocol. The supported Modbus variant is Modbus RTU (Serial Modbus)
over RS-485 interface.
The supported Modbus functions and registers are described in Modbus Reference
(page 75).
The following table lists the default Modbus serial settings of devices ordered with the Modbus
configuration option.
