NOTE
Always validate the incubator temperature after calibration.
It is not possible to calibrate the temperature in excess of +/- 3.0°C. If you attempt to
calibrate the temperature more than this as compared with your starting point, the control
panel will display  when you press the button and the up/down arrow
simultaneously. This e.g. means that if you have once calibrated the temperature by
+ 0.3°C, the maximum temperature increase during your next temperature calibration will
be + 2.7°C. The maximum temperature reduction will then be - 3.3°C (3.0°C + 0.3°C).
5.5 Incubator CO
2
concentration
5.5.1 Changing the CO
2
set point
1. In the set point menu, check whether the display shows the CO
2
concentration. If this is not
the case, navigate to the CO
2
menu item using the right or left arrow until the CO
2
concentration is displayed: . (CO
2
menu item the set point is: 5.0).
2. Press and hold the button. The display will now alternate between showing
. (CO
2
menu item the set point is: 5.0) and . (set point menu is
active the set point is: 5.0). This indicates that you are about to adjust the CO
2
set point.
3. While still holding the button, press either the up or the down arrow to increase
or decrease the CO
2
set point. Each time you press the up or down arrow once, you will
either increase or decrease the set point by 0.1%.
4. Release the button to save the new setting.
