Applytheparkingbrakebeforebarringtheengineover.RemovetheEMSpower
supplyfusetoavoidstartingtheengineunintentionally.Makesurethatthe
transmissionisnotingear.
Withtheenginecold,60°C(140°F)orless,checkandadjustthevalvesandinjector
asrequiredforeachcylinderbeforemovingtothenext.Followthissequenceof
cylinderswhenadjustingclearances:5,3,6,2,4and1.
1.Usingtheywheelturningtool,88800014,bartheengineovermanuallytothe
appropriatecamshaftmarkingforadjustmentoftheinletvalvesandinjectorforthat
cylinder.

2.Usingafeelergauge,checktheclearancebetweentherockerarmadjustingscrew
andthevalveyoke(bridge)oftheinletvalves.
3.Iftheclearanceisnotwithinspecication,loosenthelocknutandadjustthe
clearanceasrequired.
4.Holdtheadjustingscrewtopreventitfromturningandtightenthelocknutto
specication.
5.Rechecktheclearanceaftertighteningthelocknut.
6.Marktherespectiverockerarmaseachadjustmentiscompleted.
