Afterthevalveandunitinjectoradjustmentshavebeencompleted,checkengine
operationasfollows:
1Usingtheywheelturningtool,bartheengineovermanuallytwocomplete
revolutionstoensurethatnopiston-to-valvecontactoccurs.Ifcontactdoesoccur,
readjustthevalvesasneededBEFOREstartingtheengine.
2Starttheengineandbringituptonormaloperatingtemperature.
3Oncenormaloperatingtemperatureisattained,lettheengineidleforanadditional
veminutes.Duringthistime,theelectronicenginemanagementsystem(EMS)
willperformitsowncylinderbalancing,resultinginsmoothengineidling.
Note:DoNOTuseanyformofpowerconsumingequipment,suchasPTOorair
conditioning,whencylinderbalancingisbeingcarriedout.
