HDMI audio delay Makes it possible to add an audio delay to compensate for
the delay between the image processing by the TV and sound
processing by the home cinema.
SPDIF audio delay To add an audio delay to compensate for the delay between
the image processing by the TV and sound processing by
thehomecinema.
default settings Makes it possible to reset all audio settings to their
defaultparameters.
Video outputs and tv formats
tv format for
16:9 content
If your TV is in 4:3 format, the appearance of content in 16:9
canbe modied:
- letter box: black bands appear at the top and bottom of
thescreen and the video will not be distorted.
- zoom: the image will be enlarged to t the 16:9 format,
youmay lose some of the image on your screen.
- stretched: the image will be stretched to t the 16:9 format.
TV format for
4:3 content
If your TV is in 16:9 format, the appearance of the content in 4:3
may be modied:
- 4:3 stretched: the video will be stretched to t the 16:9 screen.
- pillar-box: black bands appear on the left and right of the
screen and the video will not be distorted.
- 4:3 cropped: the image will be cropped to t the screen.
SCART output size Depending on the size of your TV, the size of the image displayed
can be changed when coming out of your SCART either to a 16:9
image format (most commonly used) or to 4:3 format.
resolution HD The HDMI output video resolution of your box may be modied
to the following formats:
- Tv preferred (default format to t your TV)
- auto
- 1080p
- 1080i
- 720p
- 576p
We recommend that you keep the default ‘tv preferred’
parameter.
SCART output The SCART output can be enabled or disabled.
If your TV is connected to HDMI, we recommend that you
disable the SCART output.
