Check the radiator
Check the cooling fins of the radiator for fouling.

Cooling fins not soiled: The machine is ready for operation.

Cooling fins contaminated: Clean the cooling fins thoroughly and
without delay.
Cleaning radiator
Switch off diesel engine and remove ignition key.
Allow machine to cool down less than 30 °C (86 °F).
Opening the engine hood.
Clean the radiator [1] carefully with a high-pressure cleaner from all
sides.
Close the engine hood.
4.03.12 Checking the coolant fill level
& Only lubricants with this symbol are permitted ("Technical data",
page 160 onwards).

Switch off the diesel engine and remove the ignition key.
Only check the coolant level when the diesel engine is cold.
Correct coolant level: Centre of fill level indicator [2]. Do not exceed
this level!
