Repair work on the machine should only be
done by specially trained personnel.
Replacing the heating elements
When replacing the heating elements,
there is a risk that water still left in the
machine may flood onto the floor. Be sure
to dry up any spilled water since it may
cause people to slip and hurt themselves.
1. Switch off power to the machine by turning
the main power switch to the 0 position.
2. Remove the front cover.
3. Make a note of how the heating elements
are connected.
4. Disconnect the connection to the heating
element to be replaced.
5. Unscrew the nut between the connections
approx. 1 cm / 3/8".
6. Push on the nut and bolt to undo the expan-
sion bracket from the outer drum.
7. Remove the old heating element and install
the new one. Be sure that the rear edge of
is fitted into the element holder at the rear of
the outer drum.
8. Assemble in reverse order.
