4. The sample loop fills quantitatively by transporting a multiple of loop
volumes through the loop, as follows:
3 × loop volume for loops ≤ 100 µL
2 × loop volume for loops 100 to 500 µL
1.5 × loop volume for loops > 500 µL
5. The injection valve switches to the Inject position, and the sample loop
becomes part of the flow path for the high performance liquid
