Maintenance Procedures
Auger Segments - Check Torque
Dump Hopper/Windrow Auger Segments
1. Check auger segments (1) for tightness on shaft.
If segments are loose, torque fasteners (2) to
180 ft-lb (244 Nm).
Storage Hopper Auger Segments
NOTICE: Do not over-torque fasteners. Over torquing
may fracture the cast segments.
1. Check auger segments (1) for tightness on shaft.
If segments are loose, remove nuts (2) and clean nut
and bolt threads. Apply red high temperature
thread locker and torque to 90 ft-lbs (120 Nm).
Backup Alarm - Test
1. Turn Ignition Switch to run.
2. With engine off, depress trigger on Propel Lever (1)
and slightly move lever to reverse position.
Backup alarm should sound immediately. Backup
alarm should continue to sound until Propel Lever
is moved to neutral or forward position.
Contact a Weiler dealer if backup alarm does not
function correctly.
