Maintenance Procedures
Braking System - Test
1. Remove wire harness (1) from park brake solenoid.
Ensure needle valve (2) on park brake solenoid is
fully open (CCW).
2. Start engine and increase engine speed to full
throttle.
3. Place Propel 3-Speed Button in Work Low.
4. With park brake applied, move Propel Lever forward
to attempt to drive machine forward. The machine
must not move.
5. Follow
"Machine Shutdown Procedure", page 3-13.
6. Reconnect wire harness to park brake solenoid.
WARNING
Runover possible. Machine can crush. Machine movement can occur
during brake test if brakes do not function properly.
Clear area of all personnel and obstructions before testing brake holding
capacity. Never operate machine if brakes do not function properly.
