Preparing Machine
Caster Wheel Height Adjustment
Dump Hopper Machine
Ensure machine is on level ground and tires are properly inflated before starting procedure. Refer to
"Specifications", page A-1 for proper tire inflation.
1. Lower elevator until elevator stops contact frame
and turn engine off.
2. Measure dump hopper clearance. Front of dump
hopper should be 2–4” (50–100 mm) above ground.
NOTICE: Caster wheels should not contact ground.
3. To adjust caster wheel, remove four bolts (1).
4. Line up holes in caster wheel adjustment plates and
adjust caster wheel height to desired position
without touching ground.
5. Install and tighten four bolts (1).
NOTICE: Adjust height of both caster wheels evenly.
WARNING
Falling caster wheel can crush or cut hands, fingers, and feet. Caster wheel
assembly can drop suddenly when removing fasteners.
Ensure caster wheel is securely supported before adjusting.
