TRAILERING MACHINE
Loading
•Check federal, state, and local laws governing weight, width, and length of load.
•Before transporting machine on a trailer, read the trailer manual for safety precautions and
information. Ensure gross weight of the machine is within the gross weight limits of the trailer
and the towing vehicle.
•Place trailer on a level surface away from overhead obstacles and chock wheels or set park brake
on tow vehicle.
•Trailer bed and ramps should be clean and free of obstacles that may interfere with loading or
unloading.
•When using ramps, ensure they are of adequate length, width, strength, slope, and are secured.
Do not exceed 15° angle.
•The operator must be familiar with the controls and their functions before loading or unloading
machine. Refer to
"Machine Starting Procedure", page 3-7 before attempting to start or operate
the machine.
NOTICE: Support dump hopper with suitable blocking
or lift stops if raised to lower overall machine height.
WARNING
Runover possible. Machine can crush. Machine may slide down loading
ramps or off trailer deck.
Do not load or unload with slippery trailer surface.
