Trailering Machine
Follow appropriate regulations and procedures for
securely chocking and tying-down machine to trailer
prior to transport.
NOTICE: Do not attach tie-down devices to the truck
push roller assembly.
13. Chock wheels and install tie-downs at locations
shown.
Tie-down lugs are provided at front (6) and rear (7)
of frame. Tie-down elevator/dump hopper to prevent
motion during transport.
NOTICE: When transporting the machine on a trailer,
cover the exhaust outlet. Turbocharger damage may
result if turbocharger turns without engine running.
14. Support conveyor onto trailer using suitable
blocking (8).
NOTICE: Do not place conveyor blocking under conveyor
cleanout door tubing (9). Tube damage may occur.
15. Bind conveyor down to trailer. Position tie-down
components (10) directly in line with blocking to
keep from bending conveyor frame.
WARNING
Improper tie-downs can allow load to shift or fall, resulting in over width
of load or loss of vehicle control placing driver, pedestrians, and motorists
at risk.
Ensure tie-downs are of proper quantity, condition, and size. Install and
tighten securely.
