5 Function check
• If the oxygen supply is to be tested: The oxygen inlet tube is
connected to the oxygen inlet of the device and to the oxygen
supply. The oxygen supply is shut off.
or
If the oxygen supply is not to be tested: The oxygen inlet is
sealed off by the protective cap for oxygen inlet.
• The function check has been prepared (see “5.2 Preparing for
the function check”, page 45).
• The device is switched on (see “6.1 Switching on the device”,
page 55).
1. Select the menu item Function check.
2. Prepare the device:
• Connect the breathing circuit to the device.
