Replacing the stirrer motor
Requirements and tools
Check that the following requirements have been met:
• The appliance has been disconnected from the power supply and protective measures have been taken to ensure
the power cannot be switched on again.
• The appliance is cool.
• The upper casing panel of the appliance has been removed.
• The high voltage capacitors are discharged before commencing work.
• Anti-static precautions have been taken.
Tools required:
• M7 hex socket wrench
• Pozidriv PZ1 screwdriver
• Loctite thread adhesive
• Replacement partition plate
Component location
The stirrer motor is positioned on top of the oven cavity between the
magnetron and SRB board. To remove the motor, the stirrer must first be
freed from the motor spindle inside the cavity. To do this, the impinger plate
and stirrer are removed as described above.
Removing the stirrer motor
With the stirrer removed (see above), the stirrer motor on top of the cavity
can be dismounted using a pozidriv PZ1 screwdriver.
Note: The threads at the stirrer motor are locked with Loctite.
Fitting the stirrer motor
• Follow the steps in the reverse order to fit the stirrer motor.
• The threads at the stirrer motor should be resealed with loctite.
