• Ensure that the cavity has been cleaned thoroughly of any cleaning agents with warm water, then wipe with a soft
cloth or paper towel.
• Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can burn off the pad and touch electrical parts involving a risk of
electric shock.
• The air filter (Figure 1.3, item 7) is part of the ventilation system and should be cleaned daily.
• Do not heat up the appliance if there are cleaning chemicals inside.
Emergency instructions
• If smoke is observed, switch off the appliance. Unplug or isolate it from the electrical supply and keep the door
closed in order to stifle any flames.
