If the low nursing bed is operated in institutions with medical supervision, this posi-
tion may only be released by medical personnel or only "under medical supervision"
for safety reasons. The handset keys are released via the safety key! A Trendelen-
burg position is not required due to the intended use.
For low nursing beds, the legs up position is not used for acute care in an emergen-
cy/shock position. Primarily, this function is used only for effortlessly setting the
legs up position for therapeutic reasons! To avoid the risk of accidentally moving
the bed to the Trendelenburg position, it is strongly recommended that the backrest
is raised by about the width of a hand simultaneously with the legs up position. It is
important that the head of the resident remains higher than the orthostatic point
of the body.
Caution!
Attention!
When adjusting the bed height up or down, the bed stops in the bed egress position. To contin-
ue adjusting the bed, release the corresponding function key on the handset and then press
it again
7.2 Comfort bed egress / 3-stop strategy
Place the handset in the holder provided (optional) or on the bed so that the keys
cannot be pressed by being caught between two objects, e.g. between the side
guards and bedside cabinet.
