12.3 Continuous side guards (09)
The continuous side guards are available with two panels (09 2-part) or three panels (09
3-part). Both versions are raised/lowered the same.
To raise a lowered side guard (09):
▪ Hold the side guard on its lower edge and pull it upwards until you hear the release button
click into position.
To lower a side guard (09):
▪ Pull the side guard up pressing the release button, slide the latter in the direction of the
arrow and hold it down.
▪ Slowly lower the side guard.
Attention!
For some model variants, there is a locking mechanism for the side guard in the
"central position". This position does not provide sufcient protection from falling
out�

Attention!
Placing the side guards at an inclination does not provide suitable or sufcient
protection from falling out of the bed.

Lowering: To lower, grasp the handle (A)
and pull it slightly in the direction of the
head part (1). Now press button (B) to
release the lock (2) and lower the side
board (3).
Lifting: Grasp the siderail by the hand-
le (A) and pull it upwards until it audibly
engages�
