Using Quiet Time
Use the Quiet Time feature to ensure that the XW Auto Generator Start
will not start the generator during the night or during times that conflict
with local noise restrictions.
Using Quiet Time involves three steps.
1. “QT En” must be set to [Enabled]. The default setting is [Enabled].
2. “QT Begin” must have an appropriate time set for Quiet Time to start
on schedule. The default setting for “QT Begin” is [9:00 PM] or
21:00 if using a 24-hour clock.
3. “QT End” must have an appropriate time set for Quiet Time to stop
on schedule. The default setting for “QT End” is [8:00 AM] or 8:00
on the 24-hour clock.

To enable Quiet Time:
1. On the Auto Gen Start menu, use the navigation buttons to highlight
“QT En”.
2. Press Enter.
3. Use the navigation buttons to select [Enabled].
4. Press Enter.
To set the beginning of Quiet Time:
1. On the Auto Gen Start menu, use the navigation buttons to highlight
“QT Begin”, then press Enter.
2. Use the navigation buttons to select the hour, then press Enter.
