2. Add oil to
the
crankcase through
the
oil
holes. Oil
the
connecting rod.
3. Cover
the
crankcase with a clean
cloth
so
nothing will fall into
the
crankcase.
4. Oil
the
small-end bearing and install it in
the
connecting rod.
5. Oil
the
connecting rod, and install
the
piston.
The
arrow on
the
piston crown
must
point
to
the
front
of
the
engine.
6. Oil
the
piston pin, and install it in
the
piston. Be sure
the
piston pin clip is
correctly seated in
the
groove.
C. Flywheel Magneto
7. Oil
the
piston, and install
the
cylinder
onto
the
crankcase. Use a new cylinder
gasket.
Torque
the
four
cylinder bolts
to
specification. You will need a 12 mm
crowfoot
wrench.
Tightening
torque:
First: 2.0 m-kg (14.5 ft-lb)
Final: 2.5 m-kg (18 ft-lb)
