1. Feed
the
magneto leads through
the
hole in
the
crankcase, and secure
the
damper
in
the
case.
2. Install
the
coil plate
onto
the
crankcase.
Align
the
pry
points on
the
plate with
the
cutout
in
the
crankcase. Apply a
thread-locking
compound
to
both
secur-
ing screws.
3. Place
the
woodruff
key in
the
crank-
shaft,
and
install
the
flywheel magneto.
The
keyway in
the
magneto
must
align
with
the
key in
the
crankshaft. Rap
the
magneto with a plastic mallet to seat it
on
the
crankshaft.
4. Install
the
fan on
the
magneto.
The
arrow on
the
fan must
point
to
the
key-
way in
the
magneto.
Torque
the
six bolts
to
specification.
Tightening
torque:
0.7
m-kg (5 ft-lb)

5. Install
the
flywheel pulley.
The
two
cut-
outs
on
the
edge of
the
pulley
must
be
opposite
the
holes in
the
fan.
Torque
the
securing
nut
to
specification.
Tightening
torque:
7.0
-
7.5
m-kg (51 -
54
ft-lb)
6. For timing
adjustment

"Ignition
Timing.")
