B. Starter Cable Adjustment
PuII the starter cable outer tube upward, and
adjust the free play between the outer tube
end and adjuster to specification by turning
the adjuster.
After the adjustment, tighten
the lock
nut and replace the rubber cap to
keep the lock
nut free from dust and water.
NOTE:--- _
Starter cable free play must be adjusted after
the cable is correctly routed. (Refer
to Cable
Routing Diagram.)
Lock
nut tightening torque:
0.08 m-kg (0.6 ft-Ib)
