To place a call using the headset:
1. With the optional headset connected, press to activate the headset mode.
2. Enter the desired number using the keypad.
3. Press , , or the Send soft key.
Note
The SIP-T19(P) E2 IP phone can handle multiple calls at a time. However, only one active call (the
call that has audio associated with it) can be in progress at any time, other calls are placed on
hold. The SIP-T19(P) E2 IP phone can handle a maximum of 2 calls at one time.
To place multiple calls:
You can have more than one call on your SIP-T19(P) E2 IP phone. To place a new call during an
active call:
1. Press the Hold soft key to place the original call on hold.
2. Press the NewCall soft key.
3. Enter the desired number using the keypad.
4. Press , , or the Send soft key.
You can press or to switch between the calls, and then press the Resume soft key to
retrieve the desired call.

Answering Calls
When you are not in another call, you can answer a call in one of three ways:
Using the handset
Using the speakerphone
Using the headset

Answering When Not in Another Call
Call duration and destination will always appear on the LCD screen for the active call.
To permanently use the headset mode, refer to Headset Prior on page 50.
You can reject incoming calls by pressing the Reject soft key. You can also activate Do Not
Disturb mode to ignore all incoming calls without ring on your phone. For more information,
refer to Do Not Disturb (DND) on page 76.
You can forward incoming calls to someone else by pressing the FWD soft key. For more
information, refer to Call Forward on page 77.
If you want to place more than 2 calls at one time, the IP phone LCD screen will prompt
“Sorry, you can only make two calls!”.
