Tap the soft key menu display button. An multicore loss test soft key menu appears.
Multicore Loss Test Menu
Select the function
(Master, Slave).
• When the function is set to Master
You can configure the master settings.
• When the function is set to Slave
You can configure the slave settings.
Select the function (Master, Slave).
Receives project conditions from the master
Project conditions created on the master are loaded.
While project conditions are being received, the “Receive Project from Master” soft key
changes to “Stop.”
When reception is complete, the “Stop” soft key changes back to “Receive Project from
Master,” and the loss test screen appears. See page 8-44.
Creates a new project
See page 8-41.
Loads the previous project
Loads the project conditions that were in use
the last time a multicore loss test was run To
load other project conditions that were created
separately, see section 9.4 (page 9-9).
Optical power adjustment
Before a loss test, you can adjust the amplitude of the optical output of
the light source.
