SECTION 9 - DISPLAY BACKLIGHT INVERTER BOARD

The lamp brightness is controlled by a variable volt-
age signal, developed by the Lamp Dimmer circuit (See
Figure 20 on page 68) on the microboard and ap-
plied to the Inverter Board. The Lamp Dimmer circuit
varies the voltage over the range of 0 to +3.0 VDC. 0
VDC produces maximum brightness (100%). +3.0 VDC
produces minimum brightness (0%). Voltages between
these values produce a linear brightness between 100%
and 0%.
