Installing the Media Cover
1. Feed the Black Bar cable through
the slot in the first hinge on the
Media Plate (circled).
2. Align the hinges of the Media
Cover Assembly with the hinges
on the Media Plate (see arrows).
3. Insert the Torsion Spring (inset)
in the two holes located on the
Media Plate. Ensure that the
holes on the spring align with the
hinges.
4. Slide the Hinge Pin through the
hinges and through the torsion
spring (as shown). Ensure that
the Hinge Pin is centered and
the ends flush with the hinge on
either side.
5. Peel the backing off the Black Bar
cable and press it firmly along the
recess on the bottom of the Media
Plate (where shown).
6. Run the cable along the back wall
of the PCBA Mounting bracket,
past the Motor, and through the
bracket to connect at J4 on the
Top PCBA.
