Removing the Media Cover Button
Latch
1. Remove the Printer Chassis from
the Main Housing as described on
Page 2-16.
2. On the underside of the Main
Housing, use a T-6 TORX driver to
remove the screw that secures the
Actuator Latch Mechanism to the
Main Housing.
3. Remove the Actuator Latch
Mechanism and remove the
Media Cover Button and two (2)
compression springs.
Installing the Media Cover Button
Latch
1. Insert the two (2) Compression
Springs on the posts of the Media
Button (as shown).
2. Insert the Springs and post
of the Media Button into the
corresponding holes in the Main
Housing (circled).
3. Use the T-6 TORX driver to secure
the Actuator Latch Mechanism to
the Main Housing.
Installation Instructions
This kit includes the parts and documentation necessary to install the
P1072539-010 Media Cover Button Latch. Read these instructions thoroughly
before attempting to install this kit.
Tools Required: T-6 TORX Driver (4.7 +/- 1 in. lb.)
