Installing the Motor Assembly
1. Install the Motor Assembly by
inserting the pinion gear through
the opening in the Printer Frame
(where shown).
2. Rotate the Motor so that the two
(2) holes on the tabs of the Motor
line up with their corresponding
screw holes on the Printer Frame
(where shown).
3. Use a T-8 TORX driver (2.5 +/- 1
in. lb.) to secure the Motor to the
Printer Frame with the two screw
provided (where shown).
4. Use a T-8 driver to install the two
(2) screws that secure the Gear
Plate to the Printer Frame. Ensure
that the ground strap is secured
to the outside of the Gear Plate
with the top screw.
5. Reassemble the printer making
sure to connect the Motor Cable
at J8 on the Top PCBA.
