Please observe the following:
All channels must be configured as outputs.
The function of the address DIP switch 8 (channel No. £ 7 or channel No. > 7) is no longer
supported. This DIP switch must be switched off. The outputs on connector X3 and X7
cannot be configured as current outputs.
The operating mode (address DIP switch 1) must be set to "8 bit".
The DIP switches are read by the device only once after the supply voltage has been con-
nected.

1.5.4.2.4 Measuring ranges of the analog channels
For the replacement device 07AC91-AD, only the operating mode "8 bit" is relevant.
The outputs of the S500 module AO523 have a 12 bit resolution. The values that are to be
transmitted via the CS31 bus bus and output by the replacement device have only a 8 bit reso-
lution. For this reason, the overall resolution achieved is only 8 bits.
