Analog signal lines must be routed in shielded cables. The shield must be
earthed on both sides and should be earthed to replacement device and signal
source / signal sink as close as possible.
1.5.5.2.3 Configuration
The existing device had a DIP switch on the upper printed circuit board. Since the replacement
device is not equipped with an upper printed circuit board, the DIP switch is arranged on the
lower printed circuit board instead.
