3.1 Introduction
3.1.1 General
The different variants and options for the IRB 6620 are described in the following
sections.
The same numbers are used here as in the Specification form. For controller options,
see Product specification - Controller IRC5 with FlexPendant and for Controller soft-

The robot has the FoundryPlus protection which
means that the whole manipulator is steam wash-
able. The excellent corrosion protection is obtained
by a special coating. The connectors are designed
for severe environment, and bearings, gears and
other sensitive parts are highly protected.
