In normal cases, all switches are operated
electrically by means of
• a combined protection and control unit,
or conventional control and display at the
panel
• classically ON and OFF buttons
in general with the low voltage compartment
door closed.
Hazard warning
Opening the low voltage compartment
door permits intervention in the
interlock system.
Use of the protection and control unit
Information on operation of the protection and
control unit can be found in the separate
instruction manual.
Closing and opening of the circuit-breakers, three
position disconnects and disconnects are
effected by ON and OFF buttons. The positions of
the switching devices are displayed by LEDs or
optionally with the aid of electro-mechanical bar
indicators.
