7.2 6244 Tests
7.2.1 Measuring Instruments Required for Performance Tests
The measuring instruments required for the performance tests are the same as those indicated in Section
8.2.1, “Cables and Measuring Instruments Required for Calibration.”
7.2.2 Connections
The connections required for the performance tests are the same as those indicated in “Figure 8-3 Connec-
tions for Calibration.”
7.2.3 Test Methods
Execute the performance test under the following conditions in a location free of dust, vibrations, noise,
etc.
Temperature: 23 5C
Relative humidity: 70% or lower
Warm-up: 60 minutes or longer
Set the Line Frequency to 50 Hz or 60 Hz to match the line frequency.
(1) Self test, display, buttons, buzzer, external single-wire signal test
1. Press the MENU button and select SYSTEM in the parameter group. Then exe-
cute Self Test, Disp.Buz.Key.Test,Ext.Signal Test*.
NOTE: Perform the Ext.Signal Test with INTERLOCK and COMPLETE OUT con-
nected, and with SYNC OUT and TRIGGER IN connected on the rear panel.
NOTE: If the outcome of this test is Fail, confirm the contents of the error by referring
to “A.2 Error Message List.”
