3.6.4 Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ)
This section describes how to set up and control your pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) camera(s).
Note: All the operations here are based on Pelco D protocol. For other protocols, there might be
differences.
3.6.4.1 Cable Connection
Follow the procedures below to go on cable connection:
1. Connect the dome RS485 port to NVR 485 port.
2. Connect the dome video output cable to NVR video input port.
3. Connect the power adapter to the dome.
3.6.4.2 PTZ Setup
Before setup, verify the following connections:
• Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) and decoder connections are correct
• Decoder address setup is correct
• Decoder A (B) line connects with the NVR A (B) line
1. In the Main Menu, click Setting and then Pan/Tilt Control. The PTZ dialog opens.
2. Complete the setup as follows:
