4.7.2 Network
4.7.2.1 TCP/IP
The TCP/IP screen is for setting up network parameters.

Refer to the following for detailed information.
Mode
Select between two modes: Static or DHCP.
MAC Address
Displays the host MAC address.
MTU
Displays the Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) value of the network adapter. The value ranges from
1280-7200 bytes. The default setup is 1500 bytes.
MTU modification can affect current network service and may result in a reboot of the network
adapter. When you change the MTU setup, a pop up dialog box appears for you to confirm the setup.
Click the OK button to confirm the reboot or click Cancel to terminate the modification. Before the
modification, check the MTU of the gateway. The MTU of the NVR must be the same as or lower than
the MTU of the gateway. In this way, you can reduce packets and enhance network transmission
efficiency.
