4.6 Alarm
The Alarm tab enables you to set the device alarm type and alarm sound setup.

4.6.1 Alarm Type
Motion Detect. The system alarms when a motion detection alarm occurs.
Tampering. The system alarms when the camera is maliciously covered.
Video Loss. The system alarms when video loss occurs.
IPC External Alarm. The system detects the alarm signal from the front-end device and
activates the local NVR.
External Alarm. The system detects the alarm signal from the alarm input device.
HDD Error. The system alarms when a disk error occurs.
HDD Full. The system alarms when the hard disk is full.
IPC Offline Alarm. The system generates an alarm signal when the network camera and the
NVR are disconnected.
4.6.2 Operation
Prompt. An alarm icon pops up on the Alarm button on the main screen when there is an
alarm.
4.6.3 Alarm Sound
Play Alarm Sound. The system sends out an audible alarm when an alarm occurs.
Sound Path. Specify the alarm sound file.
