To remove and replace the motherboard
1 Perform previous procedures:
• “To prepare the instrument for disassembly" on
page 48
• “To remove and replace the cover" on page 52
• “To remove and replace the CPU tray" on page 53
2 Disconnect the following cables:
• Power
• Reset
• CD- ROM
3 Remove the 6 Hex Studs securing the connectors to the
rear panel of the CPU tray.
4 Using a Torx T10 screwdriver, remove the 7 screws that
secure the motherboard to the bottom of the CPU tray.
5 Reverse this procedure to install the CPU tray.
