To remove and replace the CD-ROM Drive
1 Perform previous procedures:
• “To prepare the instrument for disassembly" on
page 48
• “To remove and replace the cover" on page 52
• “To remove and replace the front panel assembly" on
page 64
2 Using a Torx T10 screwdriver, remove the 2 screws
securing the drive to the front panel.
3 Using a Torx T6 screwdriver, remove the 2 screws
securing the drive to the bracket.
4 Using a Torx T6 screwdriver, remove the 2 screws
securing the CD- ROM board to the drive and remove the
board.
5 Reverse this procedure to reassemble and install the
drive.
