<Insert> <Delete><Del song!>
To insert a new step into the song, enter the step number before
which the new step will be inserted in the Ins before step
field, then press <Insert>. The Song screen will be redisplayed
and a new step inserted, with all higher-numbered steps moved up
by one position.
To delete a step, select the step number to be deleted in the Delete
step
field and press <Delete>. The Song screen will be
redisplayed and the specified step deleted, with all higher-numbered
steps moved down by one position.
To delete all steps in the song or to delete all songs, press <Del
song!>
and follow the instructions on the screens that appear.
Other soft keys on the Song screen:
• The <Conv2Seq> soft key:
This key accesses a feature that converts the individual steps in a
song into one long sequence. It does this by copying each event in all
of the sequences within the song to a new sequence that has the
same total number of bars as the song. This function is described in
detail later in this chapter.
• The <Step-1> soft key:
Pressing this soft key decrements the Contents of step field.
• The <Step+1> soft key:
Pressing this soft key increments the Contents of step field.
