Chapter 9: Saving to and Loading from Disk
To select a different disk device, choose it in the Disk field, then
press the <Select it>soft key. The options are:
FLOPPY DISK
HARD DISK PART A
HARD DISK PART B
HARD DISK PART C
(and other hard disk partitions if they exist)
When <Select it> is pressed, the previous screen will be
redisplayed and the selected disk device will be active.
Loading a SEQ File (Single Sequence)
If a SEQ file is selected and <Load it> is pressed, you’ll see the
following screen, in which you are asked which sequence number to
load the sequence into:
===== Load a Sequence file (.SEQ) ======
Load into sequence:02-Sequence_name___

Select the sequence number to load the file into, then press
<Load it>.
If the file is an MPC60 version 1 or 2 SEQ file
If the SEQ file is a MPC60 version 2 file, additional screens are
presented:
=========== Load V2 SEQ File ===========
Each drum noteÕs pad assignment must be
converted to a MIDI note number using
the editable table in the next screen.
To standardize note-to-instrument
assignments, use general MIDI numbers.
