3. Turn soft knob 5 until "-OFF-" appears above the "TODFX1" text.
4. Turn soft knob 6 until "-OFF-" appears above the "TODFX2" text.
These are the analog distortion assign switches to various busses: MAIN, DIGFX1, and DIGFX2.
Play a note and see if the problem still exists. If it's gone, you may just need to re-calibrate the filter
output VCAs. You can do this by going through the following.
1. Press the AUTOTUNE button just once.
2. Press soft button 3 twice. This will start the VCA calibration.
The AUTOTUNE LED will blink until it's done calibrating. It should be less than a minute. After it's
done, turn on the assign switches to the various busses once more (or just recall the patch you were
listening to), and then play a key to see if the problem is still there.
Hope this helps. Let me know what happens.
20.7 if a voice is shut off during tuning:
(from mike peake):
(Also: Disabling a particular voice)
It's recommended to let the unit warm up for five minutes before Autotuning so that the
Filters etc. can settle. If a voice is shut off during tuning, go to the Global:Voxmon page and
note which one has done so. Use the 1-8/9-16 buttons below the soft buttons to Enable any
voices that have been turned off and Autotune again. Note if it has passed or not. Contact
Alesis if problems are repeatedly happening.
