1 Open the latch and disconnect the touchpad cable from the system board.
2 Peel o the touchpad cable from the touchpad bracket.
3 Open the latch and disconnect the touchpad-button cable from the touchpad.
4 Remove the ve screws (M2x2.5) that secure the touchpad bracket to the palm-rest assembly.
5 Slide the touchpad bracket at an angle and lift it o the palm-rest assembly.
