OXYvisor Optical Oxygen Analyzer
A2 - Dissolved Oxygen
The OXYvisor measures the partial pressure of oxygen. Normally the requirement is to measure concentration
in ppm (mg/L) or ppb (ug/L) of aqueous, water-based, solutions and therefore the concentration must be
calculated from the measured partial pressure of oxygen and temperature of the solution. The OXYvisor
calculates the oxygen concentration using the Bunsen Absorption Coecient. The results closely follow 1984
Benson Kraus Method and the IEC 62703 method.
The OXYvisor can also account for the aects high salt concentrations on the dissolved oxygen concentration
with the following correction factor:
